OT - Ahh.. JPS Lotus colours.. still tempted to go that way for the Esprit but black isn't a good colour for race cars... tho you do stil lsee them from time to time. I wonder how much black attracting heat is a problem and how much is urban myth.

Ultimas are awesome cars but follow a tried and tested formula; so not particuarly unique in how they go about doing things - jst bloody effective. Never as fast as you'd expect on track bar fully race prep-d models.


To be fair - Ford did well into the late life of the MK2 put out the 1.6 harrier with those colours but iirc the stripes tailed off or there were some additonal graphics.. not to mention the Mk3/Mk4 Harrier they did some time later..

et voila.. uses old RS 'Revo' 4 spokes and stripe does do a sort of 80's RS thing at the back but it's easy to see why someone could mistake a RS1800 in that colour scheme.
