That would be me. I'd be happy to drop it off if you wanted to have a go. Wouldn't mind joining in with a few others to 'help' if that is on the cards?

Cheers

End of july i'm off for six weeks, i recon we could make some actual progress in that time. Will have access to a full work shop over the summer as well

It is a plan. Let me know which weekend(s) and I'll drop down with the roll-cage and lend a hand. Don't count on me too much though - more of a clipboard holder than a mechanic I'm afraid.....

i dont know about making it rwd in a weekend though we could get the engine out so we can have a measure up. i can supply a engine crane and a grinder if we need to cut anything.

is that definately the plan then to convert to rwd?

if so what back axle can we use? does anyone have anything laying around that we can have?

have we lined up an engine yet?

what about the zetec that tigran had is that still being offered? if so we would need a ford type 9 to bolt to it.

anyone got one of those they dont need?

Sorry for not poking my head in more regularly. But if someone organises a work weekend and gives some notice, and we get a plan of action going I'm sure we could get a fair few tasks ticked off between us. Just with my doorwork and other work over summer I need some sort of notice. But am more than willing to give up time to the cause.

Excellent idea. Put on a barbecue on the Saturday night and make a social out o it as well.

Find me a spot to pitch my tent and you may even tempt me down from the grim north!
