quick little update.

car is getting there after the fire, got a few bits and waiting for some others to arrive to finish it off. it has been painted, not 100% but it will do for the time being, plan to go nuts next year so not to stressed and its not going to be a mint show car, i got it to drive in the lanes.

all the stuff for the mot has been done as well as a service, just waitng for some gaskets to finish it off, also exhaust has been fitted.

only pic i have at the mo is this one:

im thinking of goign for the ignitor system that aldon sell, although the guy at the rolling road place near me said he knows someone who can do them, so will see how funds are, it will prob be going to him anyway to have the carb and everythign all sorted so mite be easier to get it all done at the sma etime.

the car close to being sorted for mot and going down to have the carb set up next week, loads more i want to do but im not desperate to do it. i want to strip the sound deadening of around the tranny tunnel, clean up and paint the boot floor, finish off fitting the headlinning, also need to fit the passenger side seat rails but going to wait till its mot'd as my mate is busy for a while now, atleast all the welding is sorted.

heres the pics:

the rear hoop:
Posted Image

front half is down my mates.

we were looking last nite at the ait filter and theres not enough room due to the bottle on the brake servo, is there any way of having like a remote bottle?

Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

been down my mates 2day and got aload of stuff done, fitted the billies and springs as well as the goodridge hoses on the front, not done the rear yet as the brake lines are going to be run thruogh the car. also got the cage in so we can work out where the plates need to go.
