just bought new cam followers, also just bought an electronic fan so thats another few things ticked off the list.
made some templates of the centre console and marked the ally reading for them to be cut and bent etc. heres what it should end up like:

also cut the plate for the welding that needs doing on the bulkhead where the battery tray was.

the engine is going to be coming out to fit the cam and that so going to get in the engine bay and clean it up as well as strengthing it by adding the gussets on the chassis legs and that. really kicking on now fair play.

the next bits are just copied from another forum so some of the wrting may not make sense:
havent done a greatdeal lately, been collecting parts but have had the centre console and that made up:

for where the centre vent was, needs the hole cut and edges rounded:

the section on the dash where the clock etc will be going:

should have some serious updates soon, once the engine is out
finally been able to upload the pics off my fone so heres an update.
since last time its come on a fair bit although it doesnt actually look like it has

engine is out and is stripped, the engine that was in the car turned out to be fubar'd (lots of end float in the crank caused by the bearning on the centre journal wearing into the crank) but the spare enigne i had turned out fine, shells looked brand new as well.
so thats all in bits and now and cleaned up the block, flush the hell out of the water galleries and then ran some cleaners etc through them until the water coming out was nice and clean, and now the block is painted black. heads going to get some diy porting just to hep it out a bit as the ports are tiny

the engine bay has been completly stripped and all the strengthening welding and plating has been done. just needs a bit of cleaning up and then that can be painted white.

cleaned up all the wheel arch area/inner wing and done the plates that we needed (havent got pics of it all) but it needed some new brackets to mount the wing and that but its all done now and ready to be sealed and painted.

the front wings have been stripped back to bare metal and will be getting prep'd or painting soon.
adjustable panhard rod done, going to be cleaning it all up and painting it soon.

havent got all the pics so hard to remember whats been done off the top of my head but its coming along, got all the wiring i need now so that will all be done soon, possibly over the weekend seeing as my mate got monday off aswell.
started sorting out the centre console and the wiring:

also started sealing up all the seams, joints and welds with tetrasol:

finally got aroud to getting the engine bay prep'd and primed and stone chipped where it needed it:

same went for the inner wings and front panel area (3 layers, etch primer- stone chip - etch primer):

i then nipped of to watch the football and while i was gone my mate cracked on with some other bits n bobs, got a few more swtiches added, move the hazard switch, put the new washer bottle in its place, fitted the panel that the clock and stuff will mount to, rivserted the floor for the footrest, fittewd the battery tray using rivsets, fitted the jack in its place, and then started cutting and making the rear 1/4 bumpers, they need to little bit more shaping but they look quite good:
