ok so picked this up a few weeks ago, just a standard m30 3.5 litre straight six underneath so around 220bhp and 230 lb/ft. The Alpina bits like the wheels, interior bits and suspension were all fitted from factory as an options pack prior to it being delivered as i understand it.

Had been looking for a new car to drift in instead of building and driving everyone elses so here it is...

An absolute joy to drive and even better when sideways.

Im in the process of starting my company at the moment so this will, eventually be a demo car as well as my drifty toy.

Had her out at crail for her first day of abuse see what use think...

Dude! I'm looking to get an E34 535i to use as runabout until my Benz is back up. Love the Alpina, unfortunately out of my price range and I imagine somewhat rare to find too.
Very cool, I'm uber-jealous.

No way! All the normal ones I've found are around £700+, so I assumed that was about £1200+!
I don't mind fuel economy, my 2.5 does 18mpg. ;) I have a 1.9D (not even turbo!) Seat Cordoba as a runner when I want to save fuel. 40mpg round town and 60 on a run.
