will get more pics up later .christian i got layed of from work in may so had full time on my hands so basically just done it. the rotary engine is taking some getting used to with 9k happy limit and very little engine braking there is a quick vid on youtube .the engine bay is not painted as engine needs to come out while the supercharger conversion goes in we will paint the full engine bay. this car is lots tidier inside and has luxuries as pas and steering wheel controlled radio there is a dash in the making using the original rx8 clocks its also painted white inside this time and has a decent cage linked to the front of the car :).

You just get better at this every time, unusual choice of motor again, do you just wander around a breakers yard looking for idea's,lol, How about the next one being Lotus exige or Vx220 turbo based and stick a motor in the 4r$e end like the real McCoy.
Well done man keep 'em coming . . .

Cheers, Colin.

thanks colin and guys yep defo got the hang of building them now even though this is my last one i know the rotary engine is an unusual choice but the rx8 is famed for 50-50 nuetral handling and this car drives just like that' but has had a 400kg diet from the rx weight it drives so much better that the evotro but lacks the turbo punch. but the supercharger conversion will more than compensate with a 400+bhp figure for the conversion and no lag it should make it interesting. on another note looks like the engine thats in now has ate itself due to coil failure and drifting :):( the fun was short lived 200miles but was fun tho:) im gonna compression test it this afternoon then figure out a plan as replacement engines are 1500quid (ouch) or have this one rebuilt to cope with the supercharger .ooh the joys of running an alternative engine :( alex.ps course yo can have tea but you will be helpin me take engine out i think lol :D

Ouch, sorry to hear the engine has gone. I'll help with an engine swap if you do it on a Sunday (not that you ever accept my offers of help).

I thought you were off on holiday this week?

B.
