had my eye on this for a while........then eventually gave in!
its a 1976 colt galant gl hardtop
one owner and 23k from new.
been garaged since 1990(tax on the window)
paint is all original, but has blemishes here and there.
.......but it is absolutely rot free!
got it down to my unit today, started strip down for the removal of the ziebart.....and
a nice new paint job!!
dont have any good pics at mo,but will update asap.
thanks for looking :)

managed to find parts for the car eventually....from believe it or not.....main dealer!!
new rear shoes
gearbox mount and new brake flex's.
the exhaust was generally in good condition, but all the joints had corroded and the clamps had broken because off this.
so have fabricated new joins(will post pics soon)
here is a couple off pics just before prep and paint.
should have her back end of week.

I'm looking forward to seeing this with new paint. :D

Can't believe you got those parts from a main dealer, did they have them in stock?

Did you sell this car? There are only two registered in the UK and I have the other one. Mine is a little different Manual, green, and cloth interior.

one quick question does yours go really light after about 60mph? mine goes like a hover craft not sure what it is supposes to be like.

Cheers for a reply.
