a few years back my mum treated herself to a 93 aero and has been happily bimbling around in it until June this year.
She came out to it one morning and it wouldnt start, now normally this would have gone straight to the garage to be fixed but at 62 years old she had already decided that she wanted a smaller 'shopping car'. A week earlier i had been given a proper nasty little clio so i pushed this into service for her until she found a car she wanted. Earlier today she part exchanged the clio against a new citroen and instructed me to sell the saab for her. I would have this myself but classic 900s are my thing really.
On to the car then...
Bad points first.
Car wont start. My mates fault code reader says crank shaft sensor. It turns over fine buy just wont catch.
Tiny tiny bit of surface rust on a seam on the rear wheel arch (see pic)
a couple of pixels down on the climate screen.
needs a good clean.
Now the good
Right, its a very early MY00 5 door 93 Aero registered late 1999. Mum bought it in 2007 with 86k on the clock and now 3 years later its only done 89k. Its never been over 60 mph in her ownership or been on a run longer than 15 miles. This is probably what has led to its non starting.
Its got tax until May next year.
MOT until October this year, though i dont see a reason why it shouldnt go straight through its next test once running.
Two new front tyres just before its last MOT which have now only covered 1k
Full electric leather interior
Climate control
completley standard 210 bhp engine
Full service history though is due its next according to the screen.
All the mauals and Saab books included
Hpi report showing no faults
Never thrashed.
Onto the pics...

My mum would like £550 with the tax or £500 without.
If theres not enough interest in the car complete, then i'll look at breaking it.
Any questions then please pm me through here or RING 07894 112373
Thanks for looking.
