Hi all just a quick hello to all fellow retro nut jobs, im running a 92 merc 300d and a 1.6 diesel cl golf mk2 and when it works a 16v mk2 GTI, does anyone know any club meets in or near manchester ? and im thinking of putting a set of bike carbs (R1) on my GTI, has anybody done a conversion ?

Welcome to the club! I've converted a Vaux red top to bike carbs in the past, but never a VAG 16v, I would imagine it's much the same though.
